How to distribute a translation through the Extension Repository

Using the Extension Repository to distribute language files has many advantages. People can install a translation with a few clicks in the back end and they will be notified whenever there is an update. Watch the video about how to distribute a translation through the Extension Repository to learn more. It only requires three simple steps to publish a translation in the repository.

Incomplete translations

Since Contao uses English as fallback language, you can also publish incomplete translations (although this is not recommended). Missing labels will then be replaced by their english equivalents.
