Assigning members to users for synchronizing common account data.

Function

Extension assignes members to users for synchronizing common account data.

For those person with both a user and a member account, these two objects are connected together. So, if the person changes some data in one account, e.g. the password, it will be synchronized to the other.

Which fields should be synchronized, can be specified in the settings. There is also the possibility to define the format for the name of a user, to ensure a correct synchronization of the single field from user to the two fields in the member.

Installation

• install via "Extension catalog"
• then go to the "Settings" and define below "User / Member Assignment" the fields to be synchronized and the format for names of users
• edit the user and assign below "User / Member Assignment" an existing member
  !!! A member may only be assigned to one user. !!!

Influences

Synchronization is triggered when saving the user or the assigned member. The following modules are affected:

• BE - Users
• BE - Personal data
• BE - Members
• FE - ModulPersonalData

Synchronizationfields

The following common fields will be synchronized (if configured):

• Username
• Name (Firstname + Lastname)
• Email address
• Password

Depending on the stored data, it may be useful to activate the synchronization fields after the assignment of user and member, because the mapping already triggers the data synchronization.
