Create news from articles

With this extension, you can create a newsentry from an article. You can build a overview of multiple articles like a blog and create a rss-feed.

Instructions

* Edit article and go to the Article-Settings
* Use your individual teaser or a text element from your article
* Click Create news and save your article
* Use a module news list to show your articles 

This extension uses Inserttags, so that the news are up to date.

InsertTag

Use the InsertTag {{auto_news_archives}}, to show all archives in a content element or a template*.
There are some options available splitted with an ampersand ("&"):

* link=true - Link the archive to an page, whose alias is equal to the archive title in lower case letters (e. g. Archive "Contao" is equivalent to "contao.html").

* class=my-class - Add a CSS-Class to the link.

* exclude=1 - Exclude one or multiple archives from output. Use a comma to seperate the ids

* id=1 - If is it not possible to get the current id automatically, use this parameter to forward the id (e. g. global Articlelist) (usually not needed).

e. g.: Show all archives except with the id 2 and 7 as a link with the class "ct_arch":
    {{auto_news_archives::link=true&class=ct_arch&exclude=2,7}}

This extension is compatible to the "Edit Date" and "zArticleImage" extensions.
