A banner advertisement module with a simple form of weighting.

A banner advertisement module with a simple form of weighting.
You can use GIF, JPG, PNG and Flash (SWF).
In Backend you can see banner view and banner click statistics. (System Menu)
Further functions (selection):

  • Statistic exports
  • IP-based ReClick blocker
  • Date and Time for Start/Stop
  • Limiting the number of Views and Clicks
  • External banner pictures possible
  • default Banner Picture for category

There are in module directory the file mod_banner_fe.css with CSS details.
Edit your style sheet to include this samples or import.

 CAUTION:

Because Bugfix # 736, this version is not fully compatible with previous versions!
Update is possible.

It was necessary in module, because of the new Theme Manager,  to change the concept of the selection of templates.
During update is automatically performed a migration. It is possible that these are clearly not feasible.
Therefore, a manual control is absolutely necessary. Notice the entries in system log!

Read first, then decide whether update comes into consideration.
