Extends regular pages by additional settings and adds a checkbox for the initial pages.

The Google Sitemap extends the system in two ways:

According to recommendations of Google, you can not define additional options for priority, change frequency and last update of the site which are applied to the sitemap xml file. To make sure your page timestamp is always up to date, you can enable to update the page's modification date when you save an article or content element in the system settings.

Now you can also include files from content element "Download", "Downloads" and "Download Archive" (TYPOlight Extension) in your XML-File. Enable the appropriate checkbox in the content element (or download archiv settings).

An additional checkbox for regular pages allows you to define the initial page of your website. Links to this website are no longer generated with alias, which is also applied to the sitemap. Links will now be like www.example.com/ instead of www.example.com/home.html


Since release 1.0.3 you can use the InsertTag {‎{last_page_update}} or {‎{last_page_update::format}} equivalent to the TYPOlight InsertTags.
