Allows visitors to switch between different languages of a news item.

The newslanguage module is build upon the changelanguage module, and adds the avabillity to switch between different languages of a news item. The core function are built into changelanguage, this module adds the required fields to the backend module "News".

Setting up news

After installing the module you have a new option for each news archive to select a "Master archive". Choose if the archive is a master archive (language of your fallback page tree) or a slave archive.

Be aware that you only have master archive of foreign languages in the list. If the select menu does not have any options, you either don't have more than one news archive, no archive in a foreign language or no master archive in a foreign language.

After you setup the news archive, you can choose the corresponding master news item inside each slave archive.

Usage

You must add a regular changelanguage module to your page. Also make sure that your news reader pages are correctly set up to allow switching the language!
