This extension provides a FE-module "newslist ordered" with alphabetical sorting of the news.This extension provides a FE-module "newslist ordered" with alphabetical sorting of the news. The configuration of the module is the same as the "newslist" module. The news will be displayed in an alphabetical order.When to use?This extension can be used, when lists of "things" are implemented via the news-module and the default sorting of the news (date desc) wouldn't do the job. I use the module for "list of pubs", "list of bands", etc.I found it useful to have sorting by "title" hardcoded. A flexible sorting would complicate the module to an extend that it would not survive the future upgrades in typolight. |
