Extension To Richt Text Editors To Prevent Users From Entering More Text Than Desired

This plugin can be applied on all or a selection of instances of rich text editor tinyMCE, which is used in Contao backend e.g. for editing article teaser or text content elements. It observes number of characters in content of editor and limits them to a defined maximum. If more than defined characters are found in an existing text user is prompted to shorten it prior to saving again. Normal whitespace and linebreaks don't count as characters here.
