Automatically downsizes images to a specified maximal size

The xAvatar resizer extends the Avatar extension in the following points:

• Now it's possible to configure that avatars are automatically downsized after uploading them
• The maximal sizes can be choosen free, height and width seperately - this makes the extension "avatarsizer" unnecessary
• The maximal filesize can now be entered in kilobytes instead of bytes
• Enables use of filename extensions with upper case (e.g. usage of ".JPG" instead of ".jpg")
• Warning: Downsizing animated gifs breaks animation. That's why GIF resize can be disabled in the backend

Instructions

After installing this extension open the typolight settings and open the group "Avatar". Now Check the checkbox "Automatically resize avatars" and doublecheck the fields "Maximum filesize", "Maximum height" and "Maximum width".
