Index > User tutorials > Setting up Multi domain / subdomain (Cpanel)
This tutorial is aimed at TYPOlight users with CPanel
I thought I'd better do this to stop others having the same issues i had with domains & sub-domains not working on the multi-site option.
the way to achieve this is actually quite simple thanks to TYPOlight
1. Add a domain or sub-domain to your hosting account.
2. Ensure your DNS is re-directed
2. Make sure "the root" of this domain is pointing to /public_html
For both domains & sub-domains you can do this at creation when it asks you for document root
3. Create new page in site structure and follow the instructions in typolight.
4. Congratulations you just set up a multiple site.
hope this helps someone

And what if a hosting panel FORCES the subdomain to point to a directory with the same name as the subdomain?
Is there any way to create some kind of "stub file" index.php which includes and triggers TYPOlight?
