Index > Extensions > [gallery] Galleries Module
Hey, just finished my Galleries module. check it out on the sticky development. Its basically the Gallery CE ripped and made into an application of its own.
You can:
- List all Galleries (with small preview) that links to the Viewer (like news list)
- Viewer that views a Gallery, specified by parameter
- Single views a single gallery as a module, so you can include it into news, events or article

Sounds very cool, Thyon. It might be helpful to include some screenshots of the frontend and backend on the wiki, if you feel like it. I'm looking forward to trying this out.

after creating a "New gallery archive" name "MYGallery"

NO!! You are NOT my father ---- NEVER!!!
1. did you run the install.php (of course you did).
2. anyone else, except big daddy having this issue?
Ben Kinobi, or should I say, Obi-wan Kinobi... I've not completed my Jedi training yet, so the wiki still needs work... Just wanted to post it for people to try and give feedback in the meantime. I've already got some language copy errors from my invitation module -- ouch. :o
I'll put up some screens soon.

there must be a typo somewhere (he he)... Can you check your system/logs/error.log or the System Log back-end module for any errors.
Also, are you the admininstrator?

1. I need you to provide those "....." parts. Usually you can tick the settings box for TL to output display errors. then do it again, you can see it on the screen now, so its not blank. (not a problem on your beta site, but not recommended for live).
2. is this a windows or linux hosting server? It might just be a simple linebreak fix in windows first (as I use mac to develop, which is unix)

I've updated the release to 0.6.0, including fixes to some files (that would have broken your user settings). also the permissions now work (with the backend.php hack in the dca/default.php)

from e-mail:
You have to select the gallery_fullsize.tpl file in the drop-down for your ModuleGalleryViewer. The default module doesn't support fullscreen. I'll change the default to be gallery_fullsize.tpl on the next release.
You can change the default in dca/modules.php from gallery_default to gallery_fullsize

Hi John,
on my homepage (sent on e-mail)
on the bottom you see 2 gallerys, I use for the second gallerys the typolight pictures, but some pictures have hyperlinks to typolight ?
is that right ?
ok the pagination is only for the view page
hi quer
nope its not right. its strange because you're using the default template (so there should be zero links)? i'll look into it. What are your module settings for the viewer template (maybe post a screenshot).
I've updated the wiki to 0.6.2, this supports paging on the gallery list as well (it was already coded, but I forgot to add the perPage parameter in the module screen).
Let me know if you need the feature: "numberOfItems" which would only list the last "X" number of gallery items (this could be achieved through unpublishing older galleries as well, so I'm not sure if its going to be useful.

I'm just still trying to figure out how to do the fullscreen toggle, as its not quite working like I wanted.
