I have installed the folderurl module with v2.6.2 (up to date). I cannot use the slash "/" character in the alias field. Do I need to make a further modification to get this to work?

You can add the slash to the page alias, not to the article alias.

You should not need to modify the module to make it work, I use it with 2.6.2 and alias with "/" work just fine.

What alias exactly did you try to set ?
I am asking because it will accept this : mypage/mysubpage but not mypage/ or mypage/mysubpage/ (e.g no slash at the end)

Would you mind giving me a hint? (I've read your release notes and the description underneath the field itself but didn't get the use, sorry)

I'm trying to create a page that would be a child of another. The term I'm trying to put into the alias field is: training/events
When I enter this and visit the page, it does some sort of redirect to page 'above', i.e. "training" but the url remains at "training/events"

If I change the alias to things like "training/event", "training/eventspage", the page works as expected. In fact, just putting "events" in the alias means it works fine (shows up at the top level of the site). If I move the page as a child of a page other than the training page, the behaviour remains: e.g. "ANYTHING_HERE/events" does the redirect to the "ANYTHING_HERE" page.

Is "events" a restricted keyword or something?

I'm asking here first as making the alias just "events" seems to work fine -- the problem only shows up when I try to use the "/" separator.

Yes, "event" or "events" (I dont remeber which) is reserved as is is in use by the calendar module.

Do you guys no if the latest version is working with 2.6.7.

We tried about a month ago on a new install in test and the folder url install told us that it was not compatible.

We have been putting off upgrading prod from 2.6.5 to 2.6.7.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot guarantee (because I did not test it), but I'm 99% sure it does work (there's no change in the core that would disable it).
