Additional data fields for TYPOlight members

xtmembers adds additional data fields for TYPOlight members. The following fields will be added:

• Title (Singleline Text Field)
• Position (Multiline Text Field)
• Office Hours (Multiline Text Field)
• Workscope (Multiline Text Field)
• Department/Organisational Unit (Singleline Text Field)
• Address 2 (Singleline Text Field)
• Room (Singleline Text Field)
• Building (Singleline Text Field)
• Joined (Date)
• Resigned (Date)

The following data fields will be renamed:

• Street to Address 1
• Company to Institution

Any of the additional fields can be deactivated in the TYPOlight settings.

This extension will be completed perfectly by using the Avatar extension as well

Modules

The extension adds three modules in the user section:

• Member Page: This module shows the personal page of a given member
• Member List: This module shows a member list of selected member groups
• Member details: This module shows the public details of a given member

Changes of existing modules

• Optional user agreement for the registration module
• Optional selection of a member group on the registration page
• Optional activation of a WYSIWYG page editor for additional member pages using the "Activate page editor" settings in the Personal data module.

Installation

After unpacking the files to the TYPOlight module directory you'll have to run the TYPOlight install tool to add the additional database fields.

IMPORTANT

xtmembers continues the MemberExtensions module. All files are located in the same directory. Renaming the extension was necessary to support the TYPOlight online translator. If you want to update from MemberExtensions to xtmembers please keep the following in mind:

• Update using the TYPOlight extension manager: Please uninstall the MemberExtensions module, but ONLY delete the files (1st step in the deinstallation process, afterwards click cancel, otherwise you will loose all your previously created data with MemberExtensions). After uninstalling MemberExtensions please install the xtmembers module using the Extension Manager. TYPOlight installs the files and states that no database changes have been made (if you update from MemberExtensions 1.8.0).
• Manual update: Just overwrite the xtmembers folder with the content of the xtmembers zip file.
