General questions
Installation
- Can I run Contao with PHP4?
- How can I use PHP5 with my web hosting plan?
- I can only use PHP5 with *.php5 files. Do you provide a special package?

- I cannot install Contao because the URL is being rewritten.
- The install tool stops with a blank screen after entering the encryption key.
Using Contao
- I only see a blank page when I try to run Contao.
- I cannot login to the back end and I do not get an error message either.
- I cannot open the front end because the URL is being rewritten (error 404).
- I cannot log into Contao with Internet Explorer but only with Firefox.
- I can only see articles in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer.
- My pages or articles disappear after a while.
- I have lost my administrator password.
- I have lost the password for the install tool.
- My image thumbnails are not shown even after I have cleared the cache.
Extension Repository

Troubleshooting
