Contao version 3.1.0 is available. According to the new time-based release schedule, the first minor update of Contao 3 has been published today. 217 tickets and pull requests have been completed during the 4 months of development and the following 2 months of testing.

I am well aware of the fact that the Extension Repository needs a rework. And although we already have a team working on it, there are no stable releases to be expected anytime soon given the amount of work that has to be done.

From now on, the Contao documentation will be maintained in a GitHub repository, which supports different versions for each Contao minor release. Anyone can contribute to the docs by sending us pull requests.

Thanks to Tristan and Xtra from the "Extension Repository" workgroup, we have received a detailed estimation from the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) regarding the question to which extent the LGPL license protects the Contao copyright notice from being altered or removed.
